The most original form of Marbles on Stream are the races on the maps. There are “standard maps” (made by game maker Pixel by Pixel Studios) and “community maps” (set up by map builders like you and me).
The marbles roll from the start down to a target. They can go downhill or uphill. Just type “!play” and your own marble is at the start – no installation, no purchase.
The game’s energy system takes effect during the races. Here you have to be careful that you don’t get to zero – because then you won’t get any more points. You can find all the details here.
When selecting the tracks, the streamer can choose freely from the existing tracks or limit them by means of some parameters.
These include, for example:
- Runtime
- Death rate (marbles falling off the track)
- Votes of the previous players
- Creator of the lane (for community lanes)
- Age of the lane (for community lanes)
Displays in the game
The displays in this game mode are explained on this page.
Grand Prix
The races can be run together in a Grand Prix with up to 16 maps. Then there is also an award ceremony afterwards, if the streamer wants that.
In such a Grand Prix a combination of “standard maps”, “community maps” and “lap races” can be run. This can increase the attractiveness.
