Marbles Header Missions Tasks

The tasks (missions)

First of all, a brief explanation as to why I sometimes write “tasks” and not “missions” here:
The term “missions” is used in this tour to describe the entire subject area, which is necessary as a whole. The “tasks” are the actual missions that are carried out. I hope this doesn’t lead to any confusion here.

If you have at least one NFT, you can complete one mission/day per NFT. Since Season 54, the missions have been divided into levels up to level 20. For each mission, you can see what you have to do, what you get as a reward and how long the NFT is blocked for further tasks. Like many things in this game, the missions are constantly changing.

Display on the mission page

Pixel by Pixel Website Mission startThere are several displays on the “Missions” page, which are briefly explained here.

  • My Missions:
Number of your current missions/tasks. The total number of missions you have completed is shown in brackets.
  • Total Missions:
The number of missions currently completed by all players is displayed here. Again, the total number of missions completed is shown in brackets.
  • My Missions (Slots)
Here you can see your slots for your missions. There are normally 3 slots available, but you can buy a 4th one for 2500 PbP tokens for one week at a time.
  • Recent Hosts: 3/3
Currently you can only actively murmur with 3 streamers (hosts) to get points for the ranking list or to complete the tasks. If you are in “cool down” (also known as “time out”), you will not receive any points and the successes of the tasks will not be included in the ranking.
  • Your other achievements
Your other achievements or numbers are displayed under the hosts:
PbP Token | Stamina (primarily relevant for streamers) | Marble Money
Community Coins | Tournament Coins | Dust
  • Display of the collections
    Marbles Pixel Website Missions Collection
Here you can control the display of your NFTs. You can display only individual collections or all of them according to criteria such as “Cooldown”, “Level” or “Cooldown Time” (in ascending or descending order).
If a newly added NFT does not appear in the collection display, you can use the “Force Refresh Collection” button to make it appear in most cases.
  • Your NFTs
The NFTs are displayed below according to your selected criteria.

Start first task (mission)

Pixel by Pixel Website Mission startenYou have a first NFT in your wallet and can now start with the missions.

You can play one mission/cooldown-interval per NFT.

Before you start one of the possible missions, you should take a look at which one you want to complete. This is because the missions have different tasks and also different rewards for you. So you can choose which one suits you better. Start your first missions with something simple to gain your first experience.

Display each task (mission)

Mission getting startedIf you click on a task (mission), an overview with its data appears. Depending on what is important to you, you can choose which one you want to complete. At the beginning, it makes sense to complete the tasks for “PbP Token” first, so that you can use them to purchase further NFTs later.

Please note that since Season 54, the cooldown is 7 days for every 5th mission – more on this below.

Redeem task and start next one

Mission endedOnce a task (mission) has been completed, an overview with its data appears. Click on “Claim Reward” to collect the proceeds. In the case of PbP tokens, as in the example here, these are credited to your wallet. Community or Tournament Coins are credited in the Marbles app.

Once the task has been redeemed, it is available again for a new run in the next level and can be started again immediately with another suitable NFT. This is the only way to play several levels a day. The levels are reset to level 1 every day.

Mission endedImportant: The redemption also only works if you still have Solana credit. Even if no Solana value is calculated for the promotion. Credit must apparently be available for this.

Reroll

Select a new MissionIf you don’t like a task, you can swap it. However, this costs 250 tokens now and the Solana fee. If you “need” something special, this is a way to optimize. From my point of view, it’s only relevant at a time when you’re playing very high levels with a lot of NFTs.

Important: Swap the mission before you have assigned an NFT to it or have already started it. It is best to use a mission that is still “empty”. Below you can see an overview of the progression of the rewards for the individual missions.

Additional mission slot

If you want to/can do more than 3 mission strands, you can unlock an additional slot for a week for now 2500 PbP tokens (+SOL fee). This is also only worthwhile if you have a lot of NFTs.

Cooldown

Pixel by Pixel Website mit NFT CooldownIf you have started a task with one of your NFTs, it will have a “cooldown” that lasts as long as the time specified in the respective task.

To complete all tasks in one day, you would currently need over 100 NFTs – because the cooldown means that a number of NFTs are currently blocked for 7 days.

It is also possible that if you receive an NFT as a gift, it may already have a cooldown – in which case the person has probably used it for a task. Don’t worry, it will be available to you shortly.

You can see the cooldown time by moving the mouse over the clock symbol. There is a yellow border around the symbol for less than an hour and a red border for more than 1 hour.

Resetting the mission

As there has been no reset since Season 59, you can now reset your missions to Level 1 at the touch of a button. However, this button has to be pressed carefully, as it costs 500 tokens.

Scoring the tasks

The streamer must still have stamina for the tracks played to count towards the tasks/missions. This stamina is a special “energy” for streamers so that they still get their XPs. You can see this in the summary after the courses. Here you can see an example

Reset

The missions are reset in the same way as the energy. This means in detail:

  • you will be assigned 3 new random missions
  • Missions that have been started but not yet completed will be canceled
(no resetting of the NFT cool-down!)
  • all missions start again at level 1

Tips & Tricks

Here are a few tips on how you can optimize your missions:

  1. Which mode
After playing for a while, you will have recognized where your marble performs best. If there is a mode (Races, BRs or Tilt) that works particularly well, only take tasks that belong to this mode. Then you can concentrate fully on them. You can change the task types – of course, this costs some tokens, but may only be a one-off cost.
  2. Winnings from streamers
Play with streamers who give away NFTs or tokens as winnings. This allows you to complete your tasks faster if you win something.

End of tour: This concludes the tour for the missions. Have fun and good luck. <<
