Since Season 44, the app for the game has featured a so-called “Dust Shop”. This store is divided into the “Shopping Room” and the “Dust Room”.
Purchase-Room
Here you will find the things (the inventory) that you can currently purchase in the store with your Dust points. Choose your desired item, tap on it and click on “Purchase” to complete the exchange.
You can’t undo the exchange. A new exchange would result in a massive loss. This is not advisable and should be considered carefully.
Already purchased items appear grayed out in the list and cannot be exchanged again – except for marbles with multiple layers.
The contents of the store are updated from time to time – often for the new season. While the “Marble Fest” is running, you can exchange some old skins from this series for Dust.
Dust-Room
In this area you can turn your existing inventory into Dust. But don’t expect too much, because you won’t get many Dust points.
You select the item from your inventory that you don’t want to have anymore, or that you have twice/multiple times. Then you can tap “Dust Item” and it is converted – here NO query appears, it is immediately gone and can not be retrieved!
Therefore it is advisable to dust rare things only well-considered.

Conclusion
Before starting, think carefully about what you want to turn into dust and what you might trade for it. Because “cheap” is not.
But it makes sense to always have at least 2 Dust in the app so you can get energy back after zeroing.
